Thelma Avilez | Center Director

I have been the Director of Infusion Christian Preschool for six years and was involved in its start-up 14 years ago. With 37 years of experience in early childhood education—20 of those in management—I am passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment.

I grew up in Santee and earned my bachelor’s degree in Child Development from San Diego State University. I am blessed with two children and two wonderful grandchildren, who mean the world to me.

I am thrilled to be a part of your child's school! I bring fresh ideas, strong organization, and a commitment to creating a consistent and supportive environment. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!

Karina Abrajan | Two-Year-Olds' Teacher | Sprigs Class
Hello, my name is Karina, and I am the Sprigs teacher for the two-year-old class. I have been at Infusion Christian Preschool for three years and have over six years of experience working with children prior to joining here. I have always enjoyed working with children and am excited to bring my passion and knowledge into the classroom. I look forward to meeting all of you and your children!

Sandra Garcia | Three-Year-Olds' Teacher | Sprouts Class
Hi, my name is Sandra, and I am the lead teacher in the Threes Sprouts class. I am recently graduated from UC San Marocs with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. For as long as I can remember, I have loved going to school and learning new skills. The teachers I had made learning fun and engaging, and I hope to do the same for the next generation. I look forward to helping each child grow and develop their mind.

Miranda Narcy | Three-Year-Olds' Teacher | Sprouts Class
Hi, my name is Miranda Narcy, and I am the teacher for the two-year-old class. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your child and look forward to seeing how much they accomplish this year while growing each day in God’s love. I have been working in early childhood education for about four years. Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a deep passion for children. Most of my experience has been with preschool-age groups, and I love how each age is unique in its own special way. I can't wait to meet you and your family!

Maritza Renteria | Pre-K/TK Teacher | Sunflowers Class
Hello, my name is Maritza Renteria, and I have been working in early childhood education for about 20 years. Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a deep passion for children. I have taught almost every age group up to school-age and love how each stage is unique and special. I also enjoy seeing how funny and smart each child is. Over the past few years, I have worked in management, serving as both an Assistant Director and Director. I continue to enjoy getting to know each of your children and families.

I have three children of my own—a 4-year-old, a 7-year-old, and an 11-year-old. Life at home is busy, and I love every moment of it! In my free time, I enjoy watching movies both at home and in theaters, and I love visiting theme parks with my family.
